MALE VOICE: The CDC has noted that we’ve had a massive increase in the percentage of people in the country who are overweight and the percentage of people who are morbidly obese. What we noticed is that the children who are born to overweight women are overweight by the time they’re 18 months of age. Are theory and our postulation is that many of the hormones circulating in the woman’s body, because of the fat cell, does alter the weight the babies bring - - . That causes the baby to be born with a stimulus to eat more than it needs and then that plays out. And we’re heading kind of second generation time, so a woman who is overweight, who had a child, then that child is overweight, now that child is having a child who’s overweight and naturally, right now we see a large number of young children who are overweight. Diseases that we use to associate with adults, like, diabetes; are now being seen in young kids. Ten year old children are on diabetic medicines or hypertension medicines because they’re overweight. Genetics and environment are coming together to create a really dangerous and concerning situation.
