Jennifer habla sobre su experiencia personal con Western Bariatric, AMC.
MALE VOICE: I think one of the most significant thinks that makes this unique is the amount of passion and the commitment that our staff has towards our process, towards our patients and what we do. Our staff are highly trained. Their credentials in bariatric surgery, but more than that, they really understand the significance of what we do because they’ve been touched my obesity in a very personal way on different levels in their own lives. Bariatric surgery does things that, I my mind, are beyond what most other medical specialties are able to offer. We help people to lose weight and we help them lose a significant amount of weight. When you help a person lose a significant amount of weight you do several good things for the patient. The first thing that you help a patient do is to eliminate the majority of diseases that goes along with being overweight. And those diseases range from diabetes, arthritics, high blood pressure, high triglycerides and litheness, cardiac disease, sleep apnea, reflex disease and even cancer risk. So we eliminate disease. But the most significant thing that stands out in the minds of the patients, is that their quality of live improves dramatically. Now, after the weight lose they’re able to take their kids to the park, go to school events, work and all sorts of other things. We also see dramatic improvement in the longevity. Patients live longer.
